“There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A person's whole life is a succession of moment after moment. There will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue. Live being true to the single purpose of the moment.”

I met Isabella once at Yach and Michael's Christmas party and was impressed by her pluck.
ReplyDeleteThere is no ready closure for parents in understanding why their child dies--it being every parents' nightmare.
You were blessed to have her in your lives, though.
My hope for you is that you (and your children and family) can begin to emotionally heal--a long process at best.
Take comfort in the fact that Isabella is now at peace; she was 100% loved and adored to her last breath.

ReplyDeleteAs a friend of Beth's I followed Isabella's fight and want to express my deepest sympathies. I saw a quote today that said 'Even in the dark the smallest star will shine.' Through Beth's stories and seeing Isabella at the soccer field a couple weeks ago that seems fitting for her and her journey. I am heartbroken for your loss and pray you find peace over the coming days. On your darkest days I am sure she will be the light shining down on you.

Dear Roneil,Julianne and Icatar Family,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your precious daughter's life and fight. When Isabella was born I said there is somthing unusually beautiful about her eys her smile just her whole being was unique. She was an angle passing through and had the great fortune of getting a fantastic family to live with for a while. May God continue to Bless your family. Josephine M.Miller
Julianne, Roneil, and family,
ReplyDeleteI'm terribly sorry to hear the news about Isabella. I know how much my parents loved her and it was clear when I met her myself how special she was. My brother and I have made a donation to Kids v. Cancer in her memory so hopefully a little bit of good can come from something as tragic as this. Again, our deepest sympathy, and we hope you can find comfort in the fact that you were blessed with such a great child while she was with you in the physical sense.
Roneil, Julianne, and Icatar family,
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our deepest sympathy for your lost.
God Bless
